Bob’s work is mixed media using many different methods to create different effects. It means your piece is unique.
As such, he retains the artistic control over how he chooses to create your piece.
The choices of media he may use include:
Water-soluble inks.
Watercolours.
Acrylics.
Interactive acrylics.
Pencil.
Water soluble pastels.
Water soluble crayons.
Digital graphic design with water soluble inks for layout.
Multi-media high grade paper.
The mix of media he uses provides a long-lasting basis for the final artwork.
Please take care of your piece by keeping out of direct sunlight.
The nature of the way he produces portraits of people means he can not always reproduce exact skin tones. It will always be his best interpretation.
You do not need to pay any deposit in advance of works produced. All payments are made in full after you have seen and accepted a good quality photo of the final piece. Postage is free.
Full payment of £100-120 (depending what was agreed) must be made before the work is shipped.
When you get your work, you have seven days to contact us if changes are needed. You must meet the costs of shipping both ways if it needs to be returned. We will retain the deposit plus 50% of the final payment total if you are still not happy. However, Bob works hard to make sure you are happy throughout the process. You basically see everything before he posts it anyhow! If you don't give Bob the chance to amend the work but still want your money back, this will only be made once the work is sent back to me in original condition within 10 days. We will keep the deposit plus 50% of the final payment. You must meet the shipping costs.
Gift Vouchers are valid for 18 months. Get in touch as soon as you get them so that you can get on Bob’s waiting list. Prices may change within this time.
In the unlikely event that your work is damaged, it is important that you contact us immediately with a photograph of the damage so we can get in touch with the courier or Royal Mail. Bob will create the portrait at no cost if necessary, however, the timescale of work will depend upon other commissions he has at the time.
Bob Sutcliffe retain the copyright on all of my artwork. We reserve the right to use my work on my website and in other promotional materials. We will contact you if we would like a testimonial on this website. However, we understand that some of you will wish to keep your work private. In this case, please let us know.
